The astonishingly short wheelbase of the Buell empowers it to easily manage steep curves and sporting riding characteristics. But unfortunately, to enable this short wheelbase the shock was installed horizontally below the engine and activated directly, thus working in an impractical manner. Even worse, the suspension travel of the shock is shortened turning setup from difficult to impracticable. Therefore, Wilber's developed an inverse function, with a completely customised linkage and shock system. Fully adjustable with Hi/Low speed compression damping by 22 clicks each, along with 22 adjustments of rebound. With this linkage system, the suspension now has the required wheel movement which offers amazing results with firm but plush riding and of course. The package is completed with linkage supplied and individual construction tailored to your personal requirements, also a guarantee of 5 years! |
