Hydraulic spring preload adjusters are a magnificent tool when it comes to adjusting the spring tension on bikes where the shock is hidden deep amongst fairings and chassis. This optional extra is available on our high end shocks from type 630 0nwards. All mounting hardware is supplied and the unit is discreetly mounted within easy reach so that you can add spring tension simply by turning a hand wheel when saddling up a pillion or softening  the spring tension for solo or wet weather riding. Those of you that have tried to adjust the spring tension with traditional preload collars or castle nuts with a hook or sickle spanner will  know what it's like to skin your knuckles in the process and this normally happens on a freezing cold morning, "ouch".
